§ 9-53. Computation of charges when meter fails to register; unwarranted testing of meters.

(a)

In cases where a water meter fails to register, the monthly charges shall be determined by the average of the three (3) most recent months of consumption preceding the malfunction.

(b)

Unwarranted testing of water meters shall be charged to the customer, and this charge shall not be less than the actual cost of shipping and testing the meter.
