§ 7-4. Obstructing fire trucks, vehicles conveying firefighters, police officers, etc., to fire; riding on fire truck, etc.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to interfere in any way or to obstruct in any manner the running, operating or driving of any fire truck or any vehicle conveying a firefighter, fire apparatus or police officer to a fire in the city, or to ride or to attempt to ride on any fire truck, unless such person is a firefighter, employee of the fire department or a police officer or is invited to ride on such fire truck by an officer of the fire department or the duly authorized driver of such fire truck.
