§ 11-25. Prize fights.

It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in prize fighting, or to be a second in a prize fight, unless a permit is obtained from the city council. Any person, either upon such person's responsibility or as officer or agent of any club or association, who shall aid or abet by offer of a purse or money or other valuable inducement, or by letting or giving the use of a house or grounds, or who shall in any way whatsoever effect or cause a violation of this section, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
