§ 11-21. Escape.

Latest version.

It shall be unlawful for any person under arrest in the custody of a regular or special police officer of the city or in the custody of the municipal court or confined in the jail of the city, to make such person's escape therefrom, or to attempt to escape therefrom in any manner. It shall likewise be unlawful for any person to aid or assist any such person under arrest or in confinement to make such person's escape.
